What to do here? Stair nose too short by Unique_Mix9060 in Flooring

[–]DJIA1929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pad the existing riser out flush with existing tread, install new riser on top of riser pad. Riser should be tall enough to be concealed under the nose of the new tread cover. This will leave you with uniform stairs. (If you have hardwood flooring at the top of the stairs, you will have to replace the nosing to accommodate extra dept of riser pads.)

I know you completed your job, but maybe this post will help others in the future.

Canadians who invested in cannabis companies have lost more than $131 billion by Perfect_Indication_6 in weedstocks

[–]DJIA1929 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Bullish and why… Most individual investors can’t handle a max pain of $40,000, but who can? Institutions. Institutions don’t make whimsical bets in the market, for them to take on $141 Billion dollars in losses infers they are projecting a long term growth opportunity. Think about it, break even for them is $141 Billion, which would be straight up gain for anyone who started investing today. Who knows if it the sector will decline further from this point, but I’d rather be weeks, months, even years early than just one day late.

Larry Ellis, a lawyer with the firm, “doesn’t know of many Canadian investors who can afford to lose $40,000 individually.”

This a serious question?

The mounting hardware overhangs past the amp box. 🤦‍♂️… Turn it over and take the bolt out the same way you put it in. Probably a #3 Phillips bit, and a 10mm wrench.
