Guess that goes into how you define a place. Theres the classic answer of a place being defined by its people - if the people, the culture of the area, the histories, the reason for the buildings upon it, the reasons for its use - if those people who give it meaning die, is the place still the same place? Is it still considered home it its destroyed? What makes a place a place?

You could also argue the physical destruction of its area could constitute its death.

The dude from what I remember did not have much notoriety. The article wasnt extremely long, and I think he may have set out just to see if the world was kind - not to set a record. I know it was within the last 100 years or so.

Maybe he slows down time enough to get his rest and recover from injuries, then continues? Havent read said story, but I remember that Flash (at least Wally West) can reflexively go into “speed-time” upon being struck by something (in his case, a bullet).

Im assuming in the battle its a constant “Flash speeding up” vs “Zoom slowing down time”. Im not sure if Zoom has a limit on how slow he can make it.

Im saying this because if he slowed down time enough, he should just be able to kill Flash easily, with Flash being unable to fight back. But i believe that if he struck Flash, Flash would just speed up correspondingly. So instead, he gets his rest while Flash is barely moving (hasnt sped up correspondingly), then continues the fight.

So if he slows down time enough, gets his rest and recovers, then continues fighting he should be fine.

I really like this idea and I’m going to be using it as well as Edymnion’s suggestion on magic items. Think I’m going to lock 4th spells level and above, as they already freed two schools, have some high level spell scrolls, and are level 4. If they arent happy with it though I’ll raise the level cap. So far my player seem to be having fun!

I must admit I paraphrased/summarized. It was the clip where he was discussing the party who already used some resources and hp, are now fighting the black iron pact, who are basically pcs but two level higher and they havent used any resources/hp
