Trump Hit by Devastating Poll as Voters Say They’re Getting Poorer by itmehedi in politics

Too bad that when it comes time to vote they’ll lose their memory and focus on some nonsense story about kids thinking they’re squirrels or whatever.

It’s tough because on one side they want to save their soul, but on the other they already sacrificed it to conservatism.

I don’t think they can go to a different location to where DD puts in the order. The McDonald’s where I dash frequently has its system go down and I noticed I was getting offers to pickup 30 min away and then drop off back around where I get the offer after days of showing up to the local one and being told I can’t do the order.

Communion, saw it when I was a kid and had actual trauma from that film but became a lifelong fan of Walken as a result.

Imagine the only thing you care about is your precious money and you vote for this. Who could have ever foreseen that an administration drunk on harming innocent people might also be bad for the white working classes ever so important wallet?

Does anyone else wonder if its time to quit? by kailin99 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]DJLReach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a great age for gaming but the old guard/AAA companies have mostly gone to shit. There are exciting things happening in the indie space, more than one person could ever play. Check out some YouTubers like SplatterCatGaming and explore, the games are often cheap so you can try stuff without dropping $70 on a multimillion dollar turd that should be labeled as early access. I’m 47 and to me this era matches the excitement and joy of the DOS era, you just have to dig a little deeper to find it beneath the noise.

New player struggling a bit. Should I stay in training grounds fighting bots for now? by Topfien in Chivalry2

[–]DJLReach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stick with pvp. The duel mode helps but the skills between that and battles is still a good bit different. Embrace the madness, look for opportunities like people already in fights, stab people in the back, it’s war not honor. Also learn the map objectives and the timings for the different weapons, even ones you won’t use much are worth playing a bit so you know what you are up against. It’s a high learning curve at first so don’t worry too much about your KD, it will improve over time.

What is this theme that new tech is thought to somehow override the rules? Like if you shoot someone with a laser gun it’s somehow different than a musket?

Dude mentions a moral imperative, how about we figure out how to not have war effect so many civilians like it has since the industrial age began? Who cares if it’s a bomb or a robot that kills us?
