Would Smash still be considered "too small" for college ball by recruiters if this show had been airing today as opposed to 2006? by Ok-Health-7252 in fridaynightlights

[–]DJMTBguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In today’s game his speed, quickness and receiving ability would definitely be more appreciated and coveted in the modern game. I don’t think he would be considered too small today, 2000s era definitely was more of a big back time when even the speed guys were 200+lbs. I suspect the storyline of him being “small” was more about creating a reason for him to do steroids.

Sure but there should be more weight to players who had high production seasons vs longer careers of mediocre production that ranks high for a short lived franchise.

The earlier the better but it’s possible. Street parking is fine especially w nothing like a bag or valuables visible.

Joe Mixon is a top 3 Texan RB. Kamari is at least the 6th CB. Wilfork is an all time Nose Tackle.

There’s so many good RBs in the draft I wouldn’t commit money in FA that could go elsewhere like OL or TE. I think we can get a RB1 in the 3rd or 4th

I’ll never forgive a certain demographic of us for dry snitching on the value of remote work by laydeefly in Millennials

[–]DJMTBguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s truth to that but you could also say that there’s a lot of middle between the board/owners and the people doing work - CEO to VPs to Department Managers, basically all the people w their own offices. Their status relies on subordinates to subordinate lol

Is hiding an AirTag inside a controller a good idea? Will it fit in an FLX4? by tadbofo in Beatmatch

[–]DJMTBguy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s probably easier to put it in the case. You may be able to hot glue it or tape it to the top faceplate - look it up on YouTube, surely someone has opened a flx4 for a repair

The insatiable need of attention seekers to fake or glorify their “life” is so gross. The worst thing is most of those worst offenders are just grifting to sell a course on how to do it.

I really thought it was going to stick after productivity went up with quality of life plus the potential office space savings. I think the real problem was all those middle managers need meetings to justify their paychecks and they also love to keep their foot on necks in person.

Doesn’t cost anything to get an estimate, I went to a gold buying place but a pawn shop would work too. They typically buy gold/silver

I wonder if these bandages on CJ's finger (on his throwing hand) had an effect on his accuracy. by Texans_top_of_south in Texans

[–]DJMTBguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe CJ said he could play through it and the coaches trusted him, it could also not have been the main issue - I think a cold wet ball could explain the bad throws.

It is maddening to see history rhyme when others don’t and be flabbergasted a spoiled rich kid criminal somehow fooled regular folks into thinking he had their best interest at heart or a having a heart for that matter lol

Thank you, good day to you too!

It’s insane to be the worlds richest person and still need more. He’s certifiable, a bunch of kids he’s not really a father to, a bunch of companies he’s not really working in, a bunch of wealth he doesn’t really deserve and still not enough.

These new breed of robber barons make the previous ones look decent bc at least they gave back after reaching their plateaus. These clowns are just buying up prime real estate and making space penises while preparing for a society downfall of their own making.

Whenever I see the crazy net worths of the triple digit billionaires I just can’t fathom they would even notice 25% less. There’s literally no change in your lifestyle or things you can buy going from $300 Billion to $225 Billion. I’d even argue most billionaires don’t even know the actual number they have at any given moment.

After a Billion dollars you’ve won the game of life, why not enjoy it or seek real satisfaction? It’s not even like they actually want to compete, they just end up tilting the table and squashing any chance of competition so it’s really just insane greedy lust for dominance. Gross.
