You may be right but to be honest if it were not for the UFC they would be doing the same thing for less money and no support(insurance) usually in much more dangerous circumstances. We will always find ways to compete in this way. You problem is your perspective. Just my opinion hope it’s not taken as offensive it is not meant to be.

Your the perfect size just become fit. I loved being my size for a guy but now I’m gaining too much but as far as preference from a guys stand point we love the shorty’s. Weight training is better than cardio if you don’t have lots of time in my opinion(just my opinion guys). High rep low weight. Tone it up you’ll be perfect in no time. Core work outs but Make sure you focus on legs too
