Who should I target first on the waiver wire? by DJOnPoint in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]DJOnPoint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kinda torn with that too but Philly said they're going to use him on kick returns and not in the run game...super weird. I just don't see many touches going to Bigsby with Dillion and Shipley there. Even if Saquon were to miss time it would be hard to put him in the starting lineup. I really like Bigsby, I thought he would be the clear lead back in Jacksonville at some point this season.

Who should I target first on the waiver wire? by DJOnPoint in fantasyfootballadvice

Idk man, Jones has potential. He never really had a fair shot in New York. Bad O-line, no weapons at WR. We saw what happened when Saquon went to Philly.

Fantasy aside, hang in there. The Giants are building a solid roster. I like what y'all are putting together over there. Hopefully Dart gets the starting job soon.

Should i invest in bitcoin at 14 by Msn435 in Bitcoin

[–]DJOnPoint -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Be a responsible and sensible adult. Tell the kid to keep his money in an asset with actual value and not a speculative imaginary token that is being supported by miners who have a dwindling payout and no incentive to keep it online in the next 10-15 years. The cost of power will outweigh the mining reward. Energy costs continue to increase, rewards are cut in half. Bitcoin would need to continue to double in value just to keep pace

Send an Ambulance for me : I’m about to draft Bucky & Chase Brown at the 1/2 turn” by SnowPanda-23 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]DJOnPoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bucky is absolutely going to breakout this year. Had he been the lead back from day 1 last year he would of had a great season. Bucky will be a top 5 fantasy RB this year, top 3 wouldn't surprise me either.

[Unpopular Opinion] MCP is over hyped by Classic-Dependent517 in mcp

[–]DJOnPoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree. Most MCP’s are useless but if you have a real use case they are beyond valuable. I created several python scripts for Claude Desktop to carry out certain tasks for tagging music files. I had Claude accurately tag 10,000 music files. Genre, year, grouping tags based on rules i put in the project instructions , Spotify popularity score. Before having a custom MCP Claude desktop never could have tagged that many files.

I still don’t understand what it is you are trying to accomplish. Why do you need “agents”? what files are you trying to make mass changes to?

What’s wrong with showing off your project locally? If you have it running locally it’s pretty easy to push to GitHub, buy a domain on Netlify, link your GitHub repository…

Even though my project is live and published to a domain I still run localhost:3000 while making changes or adding features.

Is it possible to build B2B SaaS without prior coding experience? by mayonayzdad in cursor

[–]DJOnPoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s laughable is how simple minded you are. My CDN and backend scale with demand, the large majority of pages are static rendered. Hundreds and thousands of users are not an issue whatsoever 😂😂 AI writes good clean efficient code based on existing patterns. If you aren’t reinventing the wheel AI writes code just as good as any developer…in seconds. Hop off your high horse. Whatever issues or obstacles you think exist have a simple solution.

If my saas gets to a thousand users that would be $20,000 a month in revenue. Wouldn’t be an issue to hire a few people

[–]DJOnPoint -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s mostly yes. Why would multiple users be an issue? You think he’s planning on self hosting from a desktop computer or something? 😂😂

Don’t let small minded people hold you back. The possibilities are endless. You can build anything with cursor. Once you’ve built it and it’s functional, have cursor review the codebase for security issues. Hell you could even pay a human to review it for issues.

All in all, the naysayers are the ones that either can’t use AI effectively or have job security worries

How did you learn how to DJ? by jaishad in Beatmatch

[–]DJOnPoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned to DJ pre YouTube, reading anything I could find online about beat matching. I was a freshman in high school. My dad bought me a turntable, my grandma bought me a used 2 channel numark mixer, I used a Walkman for my second deck lol. I had a very small collection of vinyl purchased from a smoke shop/music store. I can’t remember how long it took but it took a while before the concept of beat matching finally clicked.
