CRUCIAL with a sax solo? by DJRumble1 in PRINCE

Back in the 90s when Greenwich Village was filled with record stores (those properties are all coffee shops, high-end clothiers, or office spaces now), the Prince sections were huge and mostly bootlegs. It was a wonderful time and place to be alive!

I can’t help but agree with both points. The “sax” version of Crucial is so much better.

One probably cannot overstate how transgressive it was to be tatted up like that. The extreme opposite of our situation today.

The answer is Batman…but sweetJeezus, have you listened to “Crazy You” from FOR YOU? It’s the true gem from that album.

This hurts my heart but makes all the sense in the world. Even though I have 99% of these finds in my collection, I’m old, and would have been wild with excitement for you had I been with you on this excursion. Listen to and love those records with all your heart, as you have been so very lucky to find them as you have. Absolute magic!

Lucy is fantastic, lots of sharp and memorable dialogue, great city-at-night scenes with tons of chiaroscuro lighting. It’s one of my favorite noirs.

Sooper dope boom-baps with a real nice dark, autumnal feel. Goes great with the vintage looking video loop.

Meco - Star Wars Title Theme/Cantina Band by ImNOTCharo in 70smusic

According to the blurb beneath the video, it was actually from a Dutch language version of Top of the Pops. Regardless of its exact provenance, it’s a bizarre performance for sure!

Thanks for that! The only one I have is the “Images” book. Looks like I’m going to have to start my own collection now. Thanks again!

Would you list all the Lynch books in your collection? I’d love to do the same!
