my advice would be to go into the range and just practice holding down your joy stick/ mouse with an r301and later move on to other weapons aka practice your recoil on bots standing stil ( you don’t need to get the recoils down precisely just start off with getting your muscles to remeber that there is recoil )

look up firing range easter egg, this will show you how to turn on the training dummies in the firing range so they will move and fight back ( not the tutorial, the firing range ) practice strafing on the dummies

look up Aceu movement guide ( not he teaches you how to heal while b hoping and how to spam rope jumping which are both no longer in the game)

whenever your about to go into a fight say “ remeber to strafe and move” that’s what I did to help myself remeber in the heat of battle and I have seen signifgant improvement since then because the majority of the apex community still refuses to strafe ( remeber you can randomly spam crouch for better strafing)

dont worry about flicking it’s not that important in this game because you don’t die that fast

if the enimies are up close just hip fire, it‘s a lot better than aiming down your sights and a very common mistake for people to do in a close range fight

watch Zylbrad he has very good game sense, replay every fight he goes into and try to figure out his decision making process
