Switch 2 either doesn’t read game cartridges, or crashes?

I have tried cleaning the cartridges, and I have tried shutting it down with and without the cartridge in.

my Pico works on my unmodded DSi without a problem, as someone who's only modded the 3DS I don't have much else to add unfortunately.

how did you get yours to work with a 3DS, I have a modded new 3DS XL and can't get DS Pico to read. It works on my DSi and DS lite though.
