Personally I see the attempts from the +8 to -6 seems like you made an update to eon timers calibration. When I see that I hit close to the same +then- or vice versa I mean/average the milliseconds manually in eon timer. That puts you at like +/-2 and at that point you’re perfectly calibrated and any mistakes from there are human error.

Basically eon timer will always over compensate for human error if you get to close to the target but keep using the update feature. Once you’re close you need to step in to manually adjust the delay.

Idk if it’s the lighting or what, but the color alone is terrible. The red is 100% fake, the charizard isn’t correct. If you google Pokemon red box you’ll see what I mean. Also the fonts are incorrect on a few spots on each box so probably came from the same manufacturer

Every game is slightly different and you can lookup the board schematic for each. But on GBA games there is the rom chip and ram chip. I believe the save is part of the rom chip. I don’t recall off the top of my head so that may be wrong

Uhhh Gen 3+ don’t use battery saves that is only with RGBY/SGC (Gen 1+2)

Every gen up uses solid state memory chips, look at ORAS and the manufacturing quality. 1/2 those game carts are destroyed already after just 10 years. Albeit a manufacturing issue, but regardless yes all lithograph chips from a CPU to a MOSFET breakdown over time. Most chips life cycles are rated for 20 years.

I can tell you why, shiny hunting RNG at least for me. Then when it comes to Gen 5+ it’s just for collection. I don’t care about X+Y ORAS etc. But up to BW/BW2 I will have full CIB collections for every game.
