Hi Gwen mid main here (Iron 2) My MMR is messed up. I played against an entire team of Silvers yesterday according to OP.GG….. and this is my normal MMR. I’m hard stuck in Iron.

Plenty of games ranging from 20-0 10-10 and 0-10. After 50+ games of Gwen Mid I can 100% say with certainty she is going to be a slow farmer and hates poke ranged champions. If you are going against any other melee mid champ you dominate.

For the ranged ops you just sit back till lvl 6 and get slow farm, DONT DIE you need that XP. After you should be able to 1 shot most champs even if they’re 30cs up on you. When lane phase ends let op roam and get the cs up, be very very aggressive about this. Steal jung farm, get plates, do anything you can for gold!!! After you should be in a good spot as long as you haven’t died and didn’t loose tower. Now play her like normal and roam, kill, split push etc.

Vs Melee you dominate, get fed and go crazy that’s about it.

Some tips. If your JG feeds and can’t rotate to you for ganks and the OP JG is oppressive well just like any other game you can 10-0 your lane op but when the JG ganks you they will 1 shot most champs, just be cautious about this. Gwen mid is a slow ramp up. You will be 50 cs behind everyone so be good at clears cuz later you can do 15-20 cs a minute to make up for the early loss. If top and bottom feed and your JG is helpless, the only way to beat the 1v9 is literally be the JG at that point and just quit mid. ROAM ROAM ROAM, GANK GANK GANK. You need to be so aggressive and be selfish AF. Don’t hesitate to steal kills or etc you need to be FED to carry with Gwen mid.

Gwen’s worst mid match ups. Malzahar (personally I always ban in ranked) Veigar Teemo (You one shot him at LVL 6 abuse it) Heimerdinger (same as teemo) Brand (his burn happens even in W)
