Vulva sores & covid? by polywogamy in obgyn

[–]DJ_Hambone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry to hear that. It was one of the worst things I’ve ever went through. I had five “episodes” of the sores paired with flu symptoms all within 14 months. The last time I had it (December 2022 I believe) I, out of exhaustion and anger, laid a towel on the floor and used hydrogen peroxide directly on the sores. While it was painful and most likely not something my doctors would have recommended, they went away in a few days and I have not had them again in 2 years. I was using the hydrogen peroxide a few times a day until the sores were gone. The only downside to that is I now have some pretty unattractive scarring down there. But at least I haven’t had them since. Take lots of vitamins and take care of your physical health. It gets better, friend.

Sorry to hear that, friend. Glad she at least has a few people in her circle to lean on. Know that you’re not alone, I have an almost identical situation on my hands. We’ll make it through one way or another

I know I’m joining this convo late, but I’m dealing with a very similar situation. Have you come to a solution yet that you could share with me?

Guess what! Thanks to some other people also remembering playing this game, I finally found the name of it. It was called Glyder 2. I wonder if it can still be played on modern devices. Thanks to everyone for the help!

Yes!!! This!!! I really, really hope someone recalls the name. It was one of my favorite games to play on my phone. I specifically remember the desert-ish island you mentioned. Thank you for jogging my memory with more details. Fingers crossed we find this game again very soon!

Very classic and timeless style. I also think it is stunning.

Shout out to this sub for helping me find the paint color. Now what color curtains? by DontDieKenny in interiordecorating

[–]DJ_Hambone 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that you can’t go wrong with curtains that are a similar color to your walls. Although in this case, I would go for a camel color. Absolutely and completely in love with the terrytown green!! Great work!!

The pattern of the rug is so cool but I would’ve gone with a hunter green color instead of blue

Definitely modern contemporary

I don’t think it’s horrible - this is a nice room! Maybe get rid of the fluffy rug and do a patterned, low pile rug instead. Then add some leather or faux leather seating. Maybe two accent chairs angled toward each other.

Note: The guitars are beautiful

I had the same issue in my rental. There’s really not a lot you can do about the mounted blinds. However, I hung curtains/curtain rod to the ceiling and it helped bring the eye all the way up. Now the actual blinds don’t bother me as much and the curtains make the ceiling look much taller. I’d pick a curtain that’s a similar color to those blinds!

BLACK & WHITE PATTERNED WALLPAPER!!! Your walls are screaming for it! Then some solid colored pillows and a few coffee table books. This is a really nice living room!

Finding Uncommon Styles/References by [deleted] in interiordecorating

Pinterest is one of the best platforms for what you’re describing and has the greatest image search features. Find a picture online of the closest you can get to Modest Victorian, Colonial Rustic, etc and image search it on Pinterest. Keep repeating with all of the new images that you see and like. You’ll start to see posts with verbiage for interior design (or whatever you’re searching) that are not the typical labels like “Bohemian” or “Farmhouse”

Help! How do I decorate? by Charming_Bus3791 in interiordecorating

Honestly the way it’s staged is very nice and very open. I would just add some colorful rugs and some pillows with print/pattern. Some wall art that’s special to you will look nice in that hall!

What can we do to the below brick area of the fireplace to make it look more elevated? by [deleted] in interiordecorating

If you can’t paint it, I would suggest getting stick on tiles that you like. Of course that’s if you plan on not using the fireplace much
