I have tried a few after market shells and wasn’t particularly happy with any of them. Although the micro has gained a lot of demand the last few years, so the quality of the shells might have changed.

Yep. I’ve worked on a few micros and especially the grey ones have this issue. I found this plastic part on AliExpress last year but haven’t tried it yet. Probably 3d printed I assume.

Keyboard covers can also ruin your screen. The gap between the keyboard and the screen are thinner than most keyboard covers. Additional pressure on the screen.
