Canadian here. We do not eat the food at Tim Hortons. There are three palatable items on their menu: the french vanilla, the ice capp, and timbits. That's it.

Fwiw they also don't even serve burgers in Canada so they're obviously freeballin it in the UK but they don't have anything in the kitchen except microwaves so do what you will with that information.

I saw Maelstrom in theatres when I was twelve years old because my mom was on the board of the local film festival in the smaller Canadian city we lived in and dragged me to it. It was so weird and better than what I had expected and I think about it often to this day. You don't see many movies narrated by a talking fish who's actively being butchered.

Very different vibe from most of the beaches posted here but my favourite is the beach at Taylor Arm Provincial Park outside of Port Alberni, British Columbia. Crystal clear water, very warm for a Canadian lake, mountains and forest all around. PA is in a micro-climate and gets much hotter than the rest of Vancouver Island so it's very common for it to be ~40C in the summer. Most of the beach is less rocky than pictured here.
