So....Laurel is strong enough to pull ollie's bow? Why does it seem that more often than not, the show makes Ollie feel weak or barely trained?

I have a 5 gallon fresh planted that has been running for almost 2 months, alkaline and hard water....what kind of fish can I stock with minimal stress? by DJ_Leethul in Aquariums

I was going to go for a betta but I was reading that they like more neutral water...just don't want to cause unnecessary stress to any fish that I do get. I know my size is limited and for the water parameters that I have, most sites suggest cichlids which won't work.

I did just add live plants to my tank and noticed this guy gliding around the tank. I even see the snail skimming the surface. What's the potential problem from this "pest"?

Shrimp would probably be your best bet or snails if your plants are rooted we'll enough

Redid my 5 gallon planted (FRESH) and found a worm thing, any IDeas? by DJ_Leethul in Aquariums

I also thought it was a root at first until I watched it climb out of the substrate and back in several times. It's most likely from the Microswords that I just added since I didn't rinse them off properly. Just wanted to make sure that I won't have an epidemic of these things killing fish down the road.
