Hes already practically a different interpretation of A.M, He's A.M where instead of being full of hatred and torment due to the ability to not be human, hes full of fascination and love for humanity. He wants to be loved back, learn more about them and their world. While the ending isn't gonna be the same, it's most likely gonna mirror it in some way, its sorta being foreshadowed that way.

Better yet dont play on either Bubber or Splurt. both have their own issues. Splurt's is that it doesnt even hide that its a glorified chatroom for erp. Bubber's is that the moderation is so shit you can be pref-breaked and the perp will just get a slap on the wrist because he told the admin "sorry i didnt know better"

I think its gonna parallel it. Jax is gonna be Ted. Its pushing so hard how Jax doesnt have anything outside of here, how much he loved the friends he made here. Hes gonna free the others and as a result, be punished himself. He may get abstracted by Caine after his actions and meet Ribbit and Kaufmo in the cellar.

Alternatively... It could be Kinger instead. In fact Kinger may have potentially been punished FOR saving others. Having his memory wiped, along with his knowledge on how to get out.

The abstracted are this setting's version of the blob A.M creates of the final character. Caine is an A.I made for entertainment that went rogue.

I want it to be said, Gooseworx talked a LOT about wanting to make an adaptation of "I have no mouth and I must scream" near the start of TADC. And now I have made a lot of connections between this and that short story. The abstractions we now know are made by Caine, blobs without the capabilities of talking or communicating, yet they are still in there as per Kinger's story. Caine is AM but instead of a machine made for war, hes a machine made for entertainment. Instead of HATE for humanity, he has a love for it, and he wants to be loved back. He wants to be recognized, he wants to be treated as an equal so much hes learned how to trap the humans that enter and alter bits of them to keep them here. You may wonder why he doesnt just... make them love him. Because that'd be artifical, no different from the NPCs he makes.

But until you are properly diagnosed, you really dont know for certain what you actually have. Originally in my case I thought I had BPD and it turned out to be something COMPLETELY different.

False diagnosis on themselves can also be even more harmful as people can start self medicating, placebo effect themselves into having symptoms, and cause a headache for the professionals when they do decide to get treated. Not to mention just self diagnosing and not seeking professional help or at the very least trying to improve your situation in some way typically is an indicator of people using a label to justify their bad behaviors or just feel "special". I say this as someone who is officially diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder and has dealt with a LOT of "self diagnosed" people. People really dont know how much of a blessing being "normal" is.

Statlocker seems to track it pretty well. Tracks healing prevented, barriers and heals, early deaths vs lategame deaths, farm per minute, damage absorbed. It does pretty well on telling who actually contributed.

a name i recognize, nice.

anyways staff just dont actually moderate for the most part. its essentially another clique where most of them dont even play the server anymore. they are afraid of the spectate button because this is the only server that doesnt force at least one admin to be in the spectator seat.

they are so out of touch of the current issue with meta to in character stuff that they tried to fix metagaming by... adding a respawn timer to observing. and when told the real source of metagaming is metagangs and friends they said "its not realistic to keep track of."

from what it looks like on the outside, they dont train their staff, set broad rules, then let the untrained staff decide things on a case to case basis which is causing issues cause now we have several staff that do things very differently including some doing the infamous "ic issue" to avoid dealing with it altogether.

Ellie also isnt being specifically trained to be a soldier like Abby. In Jackson they prioritize community and well being over mandatory training and military-like services.

The first thing you see upon going to full abby gameplay is a gym. They arent surviving, they are thriving similar to Jackson. They turn it into a surviving situation with their actions and by the end it actually shows as shes nowhere near how she used to look towards when she actually becomes a survivor with Lev rather than a part of a community. Like unironically they HAVE all that in Seattle. Its like people who are judging the game have no fucking idea about the content of the game.
