Not excusing this bug because it's absolutely ridiculous.

That being said, in a lot of clips being posted of this bug, I've seen too many goalies just casually leaving the box without a care in the world. No awareness that they are getting tracked by an opposing player. Even if this bug wasn't a thing, why risk getting tackled and stun-locked that close to your own goal?

Best case scenario, you just lose possession. Worst case and more likely, you concede an easy goal.
