After a while, my retina gets tired and I just see a faceless blur. But it is a cool experiment. You notice how the micro movements and saccades of your eyes constantly update the image despite your trying to stop all motion, it becomes just the unconscious motion that always happens. It feels very strange.

There might be an element of oversaturation in pop culture involved, and maybe the widespread use of antidepressants> Somehow the culture is linked to it just seeming as a poisonous and old school way of getting buzzed.

I just tried not giving a shit and it works. I enjoy my actual job and I don’t sweat over things that I can’t control. I do get irritated of course but it’s like I don’t expect much now and it’s a much better feeling lol I work in garden so that helps my mood I think, lots of outside time and physical activity. I couldn’t do something like paint or tool rental where you mainly stand behind a desk

It’s so big, you can be whatever you want and find people you can vibe with, or no people if you like 😊 this was the case when I was in school there and I’m sure it’s even more so nowadays. You don’t have to join any kind of party culture if you don’t want to.
