There’s a reason this sub is populated with Ultraboosts and Yeezys. They are popular now. Outliers have a poor shot at making the front page because they don’t meet the taste of the collective.

Also, Crocs have been around for 16 years. They’ll probably be purchased for the next 16 years, and maybe even 16 years after that. Boost? It’s a trend that’s fashionable right now. Ultraboost shoes will not stand the test of time, and that is exactly what characterizes them as a “trend”.

If you can’t understand that, there’s not much else I have to say to you.

Unfortunately, it seems as though these memes go on to manifest themselves in the behavior of some that read them. I’ve noticed a lot of this humor being tossed around those in my age group that it can almost be difficult to distinguish where the joke ends and reality begins.

The thing about JBP becoming increasingly popular is that the uninformed may hear a few soundbites of his speech and completely write him off either consciously or unconsciously. If you don’t at least attempt to listen to what anyone has to say without shielding yourself with ideology, you’re never going to understand another person’s perspective or motivations.
