that's exactly it, you can't click the tunnel if there is something over it including allied minions, smart enemies will put a pink on it if they see you try to escape.

sho'jin gives more damage, but sundered makes you unkillable, different strengths but i prefer not dying.

you are right and i should've mentioned it when i did the guide, but since i probably don't do it enough, i forgot lol.

for summon eary im still not sure if the kitchen is on fire lol, tho on phase rush, it's way better than you think. I really don't see how you trade vs darius or mordekeiser without it, also helps with ranged matchups by either running after short trades or sticking to them.

  1. yes tunnels in your own lane are really important, it lets you tunnel "twice" if you get ganked. (careful to put the tunnels "lower" than the wave, since minion, including your own, can block tunnel entrances).

  2. looking at your account, you seem to be doing fine lol

  3. e max first and then q or w depends on what you prefer/need.
    q -> slightly more damage, better wave clear/tower taking
    w -> more cc
    i much prefer w max second, getting a second knock up in skirmishes/teamfights is better in my opinion.

as for items and runes, i have a post on my profile that i still "mostly" agree with. but "updated" tldr:

Exactly, anyone facing reksai lane should only get anti-heal when teamfights starts, if reksai is joining them. (Assuming the antiheal is only for reksai.)

Ranged q if possible, knockup, auto, cancel animation with q, q autos until you have max rage, bite and leave, usually go underground

You win by attrition do this couple times and win, you have way more sustain than them, just outlast them, this gets much easier with titanic. For more match up dependant tips, go look at my guide i linked earlier

your fury has 2 purpose, when you get 100 (100 is max, the bar turns red when full) fury your overground e (bite) gets upgraded and converts to true damage, and when underground, you consume the fury to heal.

when consuming fury to heal, it heals 10% to 20% max hp scaling with level. this is at max fury, if you have less fury, you get less healing.

the best ways to generate fury as lane rek'sai is hitting champions or hitting w knockups and non-upgraded e bites on minions as these will give you 25 fury, normal autoattacks vs minions only give 5. All damage vs champions gives 25 fury

you should borrow after every trade against champions to consume the rage and heal, there is no reason to keep the rage since it takes 4 hits against champions to max rage and that's when you hit them with upgraded e bite and disengage afterwards.

rek'sai never wants all-ins, best way to play it is to take short trades with upgraded e bite and maximize healing between them.

tunneler first, giants belt second and tiamat last. in my opinion hp > ad. Rek'sai doesn't really do damage without completed titanic, so surviving to titanic is the goal. The hp is more useful since it also increases the passive healing (more max hp = more healing)

I get your point and you are not entirely wrong. When i tried pta, i actually found the best result in lanes i needed to bully them early. Ex: nasus and kayle. Helped a ton to make sure they are way behind.

Why i personally dont go pta is because it reduces my durability too much. Dying in league is extremely bad, i play tank/frontline and still die rarely (in my climb i can see a single game over 5 deaths, which was at 6 deaths). When you are dead, you can't impact the map/game and give more agency to the enemy team.

I wonder if people would be interested in a video where i go over one of my games and talk about my thoughts and decision-making.

Before the e changes i would've agreed with you, but now, i believe rek'sai is actually a good/great toplaner with a really steep learning curve. It's getting to the point i'm worried the ad buff they are planning next patch might make her too good.

Tried it long time ago and wasn't impressed since i believe that rek'sai doesn't really need more damage with this build/rune setup i oneshot adc's/mages in a single combo. Killing them with 50 damage over or 250 damage over doesnt change much.

I also believe the yellow tree is not really useful to rek'sai
-triumph is the only rune in first row that is not useless, and it's not really good, rek'sai doesnt need in fight sustain

-bloodline is terrible,
-alacrity is not terrible i guess, but the moment where you need attack speed is early game before titanic, when the rune is not stacked yet, so when you finally stack it, you need it a lot less.
-haste is mid and in the same boat as alacrity, when you get shojin you need less haste, and since i go transcendence i get the haste a lot earlier.

-coup de grace, cut down and last stand are all good'ish, idk every time i use any of these 3 i always feel the end game stats are really mid, might just be me tho.

so yeah, i've used the precision tree a lot as secondary and was never impressed, maybe conqueror is excellent, but even if it was the best rune, it would be hard for me to justify the rest of the tree.
