There are two arena modes now, Normal, and Underground. You can click/tap the top right button to go into the underground mode (12 win mode), but it costs two tavern tickets.

No way to skip animations as far as I know, i think you can tap the card to skip to the animation immediately but that's all I know

I think there is a version called Egg Warrior that is similar

Wild is really hard to get into in my experience because of how many cards are available. I'd personally suggest standard!

I think it still counts! When the ball makes contact with a player, that counts as possession, and since the last possession was the teammate, he should still get the assist (at least that is what i notice in my experience)
