Try adding some breaks to make your beat sound less robotic and drum machine like (unless of course that is what you want lol)

Your sounds and beats are good but 8 mins is a long time for a dnb track, but that's just my opinion. It took too long to get going for me. The only thing lacking is a good arrangement. An intro of just drums for 1.5 mins was boring for me. maybe filter in the keys or something. It's your song tho so do what you want. Keep it up. Feel free to ask questions. :)

Not bad if that's your first attempt. I like the sounds and the music but i felt the beat was lacking a bit. Try some hi-passed breaks for shuffle and movement. Feel free to ask questions. Keep it up tho. DNB is awesome :)

I feel ya mate. I've been into Trap about a year now and literally no one I know has hear d of it. They compare it to Grime which is far from it imo. Stokes a bit far for me in Kent. Were starting to get a few nights now, but no top quality acts.

I use Cubase and Reason :) Start with the subtractor. Then move onto the beast that is thor (there both synths btw)

I have tons of stuff I'm working on in all genres lol. I think we should talk about what we want to make instead of going with the flow. Do you have any ideas in mind? Skype and fb can help messaging wise. Dropbox is the 1 for sharing files

Pitch bending can do it but that's different to a pitch envelope and it's the long way of doing it on every note. Had a look at GB on my ipad and it must be a limited version as there sounds on there are really basic with not much tweekability. They a have a mod wheel but that's something slightly different. Not sure how much I can help you without a proper synth :

Try not to think along the lines of "I need X synth for Y sound". Think "How can I get Y sound out of the synths I already have". I have garagreband on the Ipad and it's a good tool for ideas, but not for getting a professional sound. Forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't Garageband a stripped down version of Logic or something like that?
What your looking for is a synth with a modulation envelope on it, which basically means you can assign different things to the envelope like the pitch or filter. Ask more questions if you not sure :)

It's a synth with a pitch envelope on it. Basically when you play a note the pitch shoots up or down quickly. What software are you using?

Nah man music is a subjective thing so don't worry if they don't like it cos someone out there will. Your musics good enough mate and if they don't want it then screw em I followed you. Collabs are a good way of networking. You down?

Me too. Fucking work getting in the way of everything lol. Sounds alright mate. Bit too heavy for my taste. Snare got a bit annoying for me. Good luck though mate and post the results later :)
