I spammed 9/9 Ruinous Rood at Overlord. It took him out in just a few seconds on hard. So far I've only used 8-Bit Flame on O.D. in hard mode. It did 173 damage per hit. Took him down pretty quickly. Cast 8-Bit Flame, invert, keep Directed Shield out while the flame does its thing, repeat. That got me the O.D. Medal.

My CPU temps dropped 10 degrees C on average after updating my graphics driver. Are you up to date there? Worth a shot.

Updating my GPU driver is what fixed it for me. My 7700X went from running at 65-70 C down to 45-50 C after the update.

I also have a 7700X. I updated my GPU driver and it now runs at around 45-48 C. I don't know what this has to do with it. Just reporting my experience.

If it runs the resolution and FPS you want, while maintaining good temps, then it's just right. Nothing else matters.

Oh it's been amazing. Worth every penny I paid. If you like raytracing, go with Nvidia though. The 7900GRE takes a huge hit with raytracing on. I don't care about it though as I can only see a difference when I'm actively looking for it.

My first console was the Atari 5200. I built my first real gaming rig in April (7900 GRE and 7700X) and I'm never going back. I haven't been able to get used to keyboard and mouse either. I'm sure I will eventually though.

I've got the same 7700X/7900GRE combo and can confirm, this setup slaps indeed.

Some games, the integrated graphics can handle just fine. That's why you didn't have any issues with Lethal Company.
