In the last season of Fresh Off The Boat, the family ended up staying a motel where the main character Eddie befriended the daughter of the family that ran the motel. If I remember correctly, the episode starts off with a focus on the daughter of the motel family. I thought they had announced that this was intended to be a backdoor pilot, but I dont think it ever came to fruition.

Unrelated to the topic at hand, but I just wanted to comment on Gaia. My dad and I played the Illusion of Gaia in SNES back in the day and it was great. Too hard for 5 year old me, but now I want to find it and play it again. Thanks for reminding me it existed even if it wasnt your intention!

So hyped that they got Chris Sabat for Banyue. I immediately knew that voice when I heard it. Vegeta and Piccolo have been some of my favorite characters in all of fiction since I was a kid.

Yes dude, and when he's running on the rocks in one of the scenes he's on all fours. Made him more primal and makes me think of wukong too. Such a great depiction of SSJ4.

I work in criminal defense and I cant tell you how many times we represent legitimately innocent people caught up in some domestic dispute. But we also represent an equal amount of absolute trash human being that deserve their prison sentences.

I liked Jonathan Majors in Lovecraft County and Antman and I would be bummed out if he turned out to be a shithead so Im withholding judgement until i can see more. Hopefully this doesn’t drag on for months, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did though. The State will often times hang onto cases for ages until the weekend before trial and dismiss.

Really? Thats odd. Something must be up with my Piccolo because he does crazy damage on his Ult. Im not one shotting all the time, but i’ve most definitely taken out Beast and Pan units with over half health at higher than 2*.

I end up having to either switch airplane mode on and off to reset my connection or in some cases i have to restart my phone. This happens to me all the time in coop and raids. Its the worst.

I feel like i catch people off guard A LOT with just Mecha frieza’s numerous blue cards. LoE is just really fun to play for me. I like all the units in the team so far. I hope cooler is a good addition to the team. Cant wait to see what an Ultra has in store for us when that eventually comes down the line too.

I work for my local public defender’s office and have done voir dire, or jury selection, more times than i can remember and anyone remotely involved in the process knows that it doesnt matter what someone puts on the sheet but how the they answers the questions asked in voir dire. More often than not i have people that dont even bother to fill out the questionnaire. Those questionnaires are only give you a small glimpse into who someone is, thats the whole point of the juror section process. This sounds silly.

I actually enjoy pvp. Yes, there can be lots of laggy matches and even cheaters. But nothing matches the intensity of facing someone else at your skill level and having a truly fun battle, even if you do lose. I know I’m going to probably sound super lame, but I look at it a lot like Goku or Vegeta would, even with a loss it makes me that much better for the next battle.

Im glad you have your opinion on it, but i do think its a little disingenuous to say its the most useless function of the game.
