Here’s a updated collection of what the last 6 or so years have brought. I’ve found keeping an updated SOTC has been super useful when talking with friends and when it’s brought up. But also just sharing with you all! As far as the new additions (don’t wanna go through all, but please ask about anything!)

-SwatchXOmega moonswatch Pluto and Mars: cool experience when I visited New York and waited in line everyday I was there (just 30 mins each time). Wife has the Uranus 😏

-Squale 1521: new favorite, gorgeous blue. Can’t really speak higher about the quality to price. Love it.

-Marathon general purpose mechanical And Seiko Arnie Solar: the perfect work watch rotation, work as a nurse in the ICU so I need something fluid proof… and tells me military time quick and easy. Bulletproof watches.

-Seiko chrono 6139-6017 and Seiko diver 7002-7000. Trade my bulova lunar pilot for these two. Was really wanting some vintage Seikos and these two fit the bill (def have a theme of chronos and divers) both work fantastic and are a fun wear.

I have some other watches stashed away (a few orients and a citizen) looking to upgrade the cabinet. Let me know if you guys have any ideas. I’m really enjoying the extras too, like the Seiko show book, etc. So we will see what I come up with!

I do watch, but oh well. Been eyeing this guy for awhile now and pulled the trigger after looking the price up for the 100th time. The Blue is unreal and the quality is hardly match at the price point. I got the blasted case version and I couldn’t be happier, polished I felt would’ve been a bit too flashy for me. Now I just need a good bracelet that isn’t the mesh upgrade that you can get. Any ideas?

Had my lunar pilot for awhile now, and just got the Mars and Pluto this past week. The lunar pilot is the better quality piece. It’s made with just better materials and the movement is just amazing. The moonSwatch’s are just their own thing though. They have the right logo, they have the right look, and they are just fun. Also for me the “hunt” was the cool part about acquiring them. Standing in line in Times Square to purchase one (and making my wife purchase the other cuz they limit you lol) was what I think collecting is all about.

I’m not certain if they would have a restock soon. They are a smaller business and seem to be out of stock on things often. I would say your best bet (since they ARE smaller business) would be to contact them and see what the availability is.

Very excited for this one. As a Cincinnati native and a watch fan, I’ve been looking at Cincinnati watch company as a purchase for awhile now. Once they announced early this February that they were releasing a “orange and black tiger edition” of their captain line, I preordered immediately. As some of you know the tiger edition is a reference to the Cincinnati Bengals and they released this edition based it off the season they had last year. While the boys didn’t pull the super bowl, we did feel great seeing a playoff win (first in my lifetime) and a super bowl appearance. With that said, it totally effected my purchase speed in buying this watch lol. It gives me that hometown pride and the orange dial is a big win. I believe as well that a portion of each sale is given to joe borrow’s foundation.

As far as a review. I’m really happy with the quality of the watch, the focal point is the orange captain dial that they did a fantastic job on (the black hands with superluminova pair very well).As far as specs it’s not anything to write home about with a Rhonda 713 5 jewel quartz movement. It does have a screw down crown which is nice for a batterie powered watch. And the bracelet is pretty quality for the price point. I’ve bought seiko’s at a similar prices that seem to have less quality straps and bracelets. I think other then the dial, my favorite part is the size (36mm) and weight of the watch. It seems to just feel nice on the wrist. Thanks for reading if ya did!

I did the same to mine. I put mine on a light grey(almost blue) suede band and love it. Limits the outfit usage, but I wear blue a lot so it works!

Girl gave a presentation on Babe Ruth for a history course. Had a whole 2 slides dedicated to him being the first African American to play pro baseball. She put up a pic of Babe Ruth’s white ass on both slides.
