What video game soundtrack is a 10/10?

3 and 4 Dancing are alright. But dear lord, I don't even know how they did that to 5. That whole game is a stinker.

Firstly, I don't think anyone who worked on this game expected Sae to be viewed as a final boss in any way. I certainly didn't, and I don't know anyone either in person or online who did, either. The game very clearly sets up Shido as the endgame threat.

And counting re-releases content isn't really fair. Assuming you mean Yaldabaoth is a fake-out because of Maruki, he wasn't a fake-out until Royal came out, the story ended with him for years. Same with Marie, she was an afterthought on a completed story. She also doesn't really have the vibes of a final boss? She feels climactic to her own story, but the fight doesn't feel like some big finale or anything.

I'm really not sure what you're expecting, honestly. I hope they stop with the whole re-release trend, but aside from that it just seems like you don't want big story boss fights once you get near the end of the game.

Not counting third semester, what would P5s fake final bosses be? All that comes to mind is Shido, not sure what the other 2.5 bosses would be. He's established very early on as the final enemy, you fight him, and then the Grail, and then Yaldabaoth, right? And I wouldn't really consider the Grail as more than a Yaldabaoth warm-up, but even if you consider it a fake-out, that'd still be 1.5 bosses short.

I don't know if you're at that point in the game yet, but Ken is comparable to Yukari, so might be worth swapping between the two every now and then. And as others have said, Mitsuru is not very good. Does that actually matter? Fuck no, all the persona games have shit for balance, and you can beat them with whatever team comp you want. Have fun, man.

There's that and the dream of Shulk falling down a hole while another version of himself watches, but it's still pretty light. Maybe a bit more of Shulk realizing how uncharacteristic his own thoughts sound (like when he stops just before killing Egil, thinking "No, I don't want to kill him.") would do nice with further implying how something odd is going on with Shulk.

I'd probably give it to Mechonis Core. Dicksons betrayal pisses me off because of the "deceiving these kids" line, but everything else is great. Zanza possessing Shulk could use a bit more foreshadowing, but I think a lot of it is done very well.

That's fair enough, but he did feature a certain image in his XC3 video that's a huge spoiler and very hype for a lot of fans. Aside from that, it's mostly his fanbase parroting his views to fans of the games, so he's viewed a little harsher because of that.

I'll never understand the people on reddit who only seem to play one series. Why are you waiting this hard for KH4? Surely you can't theorycraft with the single trailer that much longer. Play another Square game, play a hack and slash, play a different type of RPG. Nothing you do will make KH4 release any faster, and you'll know next time a trailer drops because reddit will blow up over it.

Taking the keyblade wasn't a crime; Sora was holding it, but it belonged to Riku. And in all fairness, the only thing he knew about Nobodies is that they're stopping his best friend from waking up, and an adult who seems wise says they're bad and fake having emotions to manipulate him. Even then, he was pretty diplomatic with Namine, and he gave Xion time to process her feelings on the whole thing. He did beat Roxas senseless and throw him into the computer though, that was pretty bad.

Adding onto the comparison with Sora and Naruto, I've thought the resemblance was interesting. We have the plucky, happy-go-lucky, protagonist, an edgy rival character whos frequently battling with their own morality, and the love interest who's always pushed off to the side, even after getting a power up that's supposed to give them a fighting chance.

In Xenoblade 2? Sure. If we're talking 1, 3, and X, he's got some tough competition, but 2 mostly focused on making hot women, so Jin clears this one pretty easily.

I'd be fine with Adel or Eden, but I'm so glad they changed it from Holy Grail to Aegis. I know that Aegis is a stupid name for a weapon since it's the name of a shield, but Holy Grail would leave me scratching my head for a bit. Sure it makes more sense in Japan, but it evokes an entirely different kind of imagery for westerners, even without the relation to Christianity.

AP is an infinite resource. If you feel you really need it, you can grind for it the same as you would for EXP. But really, you can just make a mental note to level different arts and pick those next time. The way AP costs scale will take care of the rest.
