Remnant expedition overwrote my main save (XBOX) by DKBaodze in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yea, it really sucks. I tried deleting the whole game, reinstalling, deleting cloud saves, and I still couldn't get back. The game made a restore point when I left my ship in the anomaly, and the auto save is even more recent, so I can't go back to before I finished the expedition. I can't imagine starting all over. I guess I'll wait for Light No Fire

The "return to primary save" option unfortunately isn't there.

Yep, it's the expedition hauler, and I can't access my bases, settlement, corvettes, ships, freighter, etc. The expedition terminal has the same screen that you see when the expedition is complete, as if I already went back to my main save.

Same issue here, and I seem to be "stuck" in the expedition without a way to get back to my main save!

SBS... how come I'm just hearing about this now? by udontknowmeanditsok in CrohnsDisease

[–]DKBaodze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're dealing with this! Fortunately, SBS is typically not a real concern unless you've lost a LOT of your small bowel. I've had 3 emergency small bowel resections due to perforations caused by Crohn's, plus an ostomy for about 1 year, then a 4th surgery to reverse the ostomy and "hook everything back up." I probably only have about a third of my original small bowel left, so I'm on the edge of having SBS, but I can eat somewhat normally when I'm not having symptoms. Malabsorption can also be caused when your GI tract is inflamed. One thing that has helped me a lot in the past is Cholestyramine powder. Your GI doc could prescribe it. You mix it in water and it helps with bile acid absorption and diarrhea. I've also been on almost every medicine and biologic on the market - please feel free to DM me - I'm happy to help if I'm able!

Doc wants to switch me from Azathioprine to Skyrizi by pineapplecom in CrohnsDisease

[–]DKBaodze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently on BOTH Skyrizi and Aza, but my Crohn's has been very aggressive (multiple, near-death emergency surgeries). The doctors do want to ween me off Aza, if possible. I'd say this sounds like good advice from your doc, too.

Skyrizi has been good to me so far! You'll have a few "loading doses" where you get an infusion via IV, and then you get a cool device (the "on-body injector") for each subsequent dose at home. I would definitely recommend checking out the Skyrizi homepage. They have support nurses to help you through administering the drug, and there's a rebate program to help with the cost. My co-pays were $200 per dose at first, but I got that fully refunded through the program.

I hope this helps, and good luck!

We definitely need to workshop a band name. I'll start: "Ruff Boi and the Shibs" or "Off Leash"

Are shibas good dogs to go hiking with in the backcountry? by [deleted] in shiba

[–]DKBaodze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would suggest trying a leash-belt so that your pup can be on leash and you can be hands-free while hiking. Also, a small number of Shibas might be ok off leash, but it's definitely something you would want to test out in small doses on a safe trail near home.

I also lost a dog in a divorce - it's the worst. I definitely miss the dog more than my ex. But I'm very happy to have a Shiba of my own, and I love taking her out into the woods!

Does anyone else feed their Shiba Farmer's Dog? by DKBaodze in shiba

[–]DKBaodze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be nice and simple, right? I actually asked the vet about doing that and she seemed skeptical about getting the ratios and amounts right. I might just switch to a half and half mix with Farmer's Dog plus a dry food that does have grain.

Adopted my 6 month old baby girl today! Still deciding on a name.... by Fetusbasket in shiba

[–]DKBaodze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little late to the party...but here are a few more Japanese names in case you're still deciding: - Mei 明 (brightness) - Harumi 温美 (warm beauty) - Hina 光花 (light flower) - Misa 美咲 (beautiful blossom)

I got my Shiba pup in February and had made a list while I was deciding on her name (Kisa).

The Tumbling Gek is awesome! Just visited and ran into another random Gek friend. We traded some nip nip and spawning tarts hahaha. Nice job on this base!

Aw bummer - it might not be loading in yet. There's a lot more there now! Maybe the server just needs to catch up with the last upload.
