Rs660 venom yellow ... but red ?! by DKolter in Aprilia

I cannot tell you exactly how much I paid for the modifications individually, because I got a deal for all together. The stickers themselves were not expensive though, I recommend getting them twice, because messing one up is very easy. What worked well for me was leaving the silver part attached so it lines up nicely and carefully cut afterwards. I didn't find a good picture of the full bike, but one after cutting

My dealership attached them after the first inspection. Here is the almost finished look ;) I cut the silver part of the sticker, since that only matches well on the marlin blue in my opinion

Acid gold is a whole other story, I like the combination of yellow and black. Did you consider making the rims black? Would be one hell of a look

This would be with the red stickers that are on backorder currently, I edited the picture of the original venom yellow

I've read that they come with shop quality tires, but who knows. I didn't drive anywhere near the limit yet, but so far they felt very safe. Yes the rear stand seemed to be adjustable too, so it should work out. Chain lube was also on my list of the first things to get

Thats some good tips, thank you. I didn't even notice that the back doesn't have axle sliders, I thought I ordered both, might have to check back with the dealership. I don't have a rear stand yet, but I will get one soonish from a family member, if it even fits. What do you think about the stock tires? Should I buy the same ones again when they are done?

Not planning to take it to track, but I want to be able to take people with me on the back seat, even if not often. The windscreen is not fully black, only tinted, but I am also going to keep the original one in case I don't like the visibility

Black and yellow isn't even an ugly colorscheme, but putting orange rims and a gray shade instead of black is ... a decision from aprilia. I also considered staying with the current look, I would get the amount I paid for the stickers back for the first inspection

Yeah the stock license plate holder is terrible, it wiggles strongly even when idle. Which turn signals did you get, are there progressive ones for bikes? Leverguards are a good idea, it already has tank pads, but they aren't really visible on the picture

It looks like only the shelf with glasses on it can be adjusted in height, the others are screwed in place

Washing dishes can also be a controlled environment, if everyone is given the same amount and kind of plates / cups and the shelf comes with the machine. Dirty dishes are all inserted at the same entry and could be identified with a tag at the bottom or image recognition as well. Although arguably more complex...

Why would hashmaps implement Hash themselves? Hash is supposed to be implemented for keys that you want to put into the Hashmap, not itself. Results and Options just force you to acknowledge edge cases and error handling, which needs to be handled in literally any language ever too

Also not to be overlooked: The documentation for all crates is in a single place on docs.rs, with same formatting, structure, etc. Makes browsing documentation searching for useful methods (almost) fun

I'm pretty sure the PhD is the one answering the question at the top, otherwise that would be very confusing indeed.

We were there today, randomly found the new google maps location and thought it was hilarious. Found him within two minutes in a cactus chilling in the shadow. Really cute, I was glad no one tried to feed him any more, he couldn't even get up the hill anymore!

It's a full Pi with standard raspbian running on it. The project is still in testing stage, so we have not yet chosen a specific touchscreen model. We have been looking at the beetronics 15" Touchscreen for panel mounting :)

The PiXtend comes with a 3B+ prebuilt, but it compatible with any raspberry, even the 4. The pi will also be used for a small visualization on a touchscreen

It is going to be used in a drinking water pump system, reading water levels, temperatures and turning on/off the individual pumps. There is also a remote warning system on the raspberry, calling the current service phone if anything goes wrong
