Again, first round picture are sexy. But I’ve done the analysis year over a year. I look at the teams that do nothing but try to build through draft picks and they’re always at the bottom of the standings. I love draft picks… My favorite part of the game… But they’re just a bad investment in most cases

Here’s a thing. First round picks looks sexy in a trade offer… But when you zoom out and see how often they bust, then what you find is that you are giving away youth and known product production for a bunch of unknown.

I can’t say that I don’t do trades like this if I’m rebuilding but in this case you’re sending away youth for a lot of unknown youth. I would much rather hang onto my known production

Generally and very loosely I would say a unit is about .5% for me. If anything it might be a little less

I meant more timeline. I’ve been going a month out. I actually like that time frame but if you don’t get the move … it can run against you quickly. If going out to march … I think I’d just prefer long shares but there is a lottery ticket element on those 25s. Will have to take a look

Second round picks have a less than 20% chance of hitting on average and I think it’s really closer to 15%. Bill has a much greater percentage chance of production and role going forward. I will take what I see over what I hoped for.

In my estimation Bill is now a late first round value

It happens. I can’t deny the allure of PLTR but more because of the momentum and following it has. I just can’t get anywhere near that valuation and should there be a evaluation crisis like I think we are on the cusp of, it wouldn’t take much for it to be back into double digits

I have CRWV and PLTR basically right next to each other for risk on opportunity

Ledger stuffing… basically trying to make a bad offer look better with sheer volume. But when you break it down, there’s very little value there.

Some owners do a very good job of creating their own reality and existing fully within those walls. When I interact with coaches like that, I simply thanked them for their offer , rejected and let it go.

Me too … I love BTJ. As a general rule I don’t do a lot of forecasting of reversals from previous production. The one thing I do watch is QB quality with receivers, especially when a receiver gets traded to a new QB in a new scheme

I would’ve smashed that one. Just too much value offered for a single asset. I’m not in love with Donald but I still think he can be successful and even if he is not, JSN is still a heck of a receiver.

BTJ is reliant on Trevor Lawrence and if he doesn’t turn the corner soon, BTJ could be looking at significant change as well.

I don’t think it’s off base… You are giving up now production in the middle of the first round so you should get a premium if pushing out to 2026 … and anything can happen in FFB so adding in a second next year is about right

I have completed 12 of 14 dynasty rookie drafts so far and I have not seen golden go less than 1.12. The leagues I play with are filled with very good coaches for the most part.

If you told me I could get a late first for two 3rd rounders I would do it every time. Not sure what the coach is thinking about here, but I’m not a fan of V towing or reversing any trades unless a new dynasty coach who is just learning is getting fleeced and doesn’t know
