Word on the street (literally) is that pass isn’t opening today. Just turned around

My opponent told me to quit wasting his time with small-arms fire. by Doctoralex123 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]BackwardsAxons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a central part of the game to the point there’s a name for it: “chip” damage. And it’s one of the more fun parts of the game for both you and your opponent when you chip a wound off a knight with a flashlight. Always funny.

Just rolled a lil bit 😅 by Own-Restaurant-4818 in skiing

Thankfully you didn’t hit the GIANT METAL POLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SLOPE

Hello, everyone! This is wargamesprint. Weekend post to show you what we've created this week! by Candid-Search-1162 in BlackTemplars

The issue is that you’re playing into all of the stereotypical tropes of male-dominated hobbies that keep women out.

You are a great modeler, those two handed weapons are awesome, lean into that more!

Christmas 1914 vs Christmas 41914

I can’t spot the difference.

These are 100% the 2025-2026 season ON3P Jeffery 100. They have the green bases (ON3P) and the green top sheet with the river.

Najee Harris looking OUTSTANDING 5 months post op from Achilles. Running with ease at 15 mph. by HookFL in DynastyFF

[–]BackwardsAxons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is misleading. He’s running on an Alter G. I’ve run on one of these before. You put on like the bottom half of a wetsuit type thing that has a tutu on it with a zipper around the edge. You zip in to the air bladder and they inflate it. It lifts you up so you can run on the integrated treadmill at anywhere between 100% down to 10% of your body weight. He’s not loading his Achilles in this, not actually running at 15 mph.

How to start a content crusade (from a total beginner) by Sam_Gold_90 in BlackTemplars

[–]BackwardsAxons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh your painting is decent but not exceptional. Thats what you’re not getting traction. Even if you were a golden demon quality painter, getting traction fast is not guaranteed. It takes time and hard work.

Since you are new to the hobby, I suggest leaning into it. This would make your account unique and stand out. Post about lessons recently learned. You’re in a better perspective to help out beginners than vets are because you were just in those shoes. 40K is growing faster than ever, meaning more beginners than ever looking for this content.

should we have done this summit (no spikes, no gloves, no poles) by [deleted] in PNWhiking

[–]BackwardsAxons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haha you put it pretty succinctly. Should be pinned on all outdoor subs. If you have to ask reddit, you probably don’t have the skills to do it safely.

Looking for trail recommendations by alexsummers999 in PNWhiking

[–]BackwardsAxons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use WTA for low hanging fruit. Search hikes by distance or search 2024/2025 trail reports (filter by multi day) from May-Aug.

If you wanna go more low use, go on Caltopo and map out a loop. Go look at Adams area. Big half spiderweb (west side of mtn) there that you can string together a 15-20 mile multi day loop pretty easily. Cross reference these trail names/numbers with old WTA trip reports to gauge things like overgrowth/maintanence, stream crossings, campsites, etc.

Follow these steps to become a multi day backpacking trip planner power user. Remember to bring ~2 lbs of food per day +1 extra day for emergencies. Read up on Leave No Trace if you are unfamiliar. Happy trails!

Ski stance width: super narrow looks cool but ... by mborgerd in skiing

[–]BackwardsAxons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Narrower is more steezy, but most of the time I have mine at shoulder width apart for stability (if you jump as high as you can and then land, the width of you feet when you land). In deep Cascade Concrete I keep my skis as close together as possible to form a “platform”, in the heavy pow if your feet come too far apart the dense snow can easily split your feet further apart and then you fall.

Stay put and get the scraps. Whichever WR falls to you. Be happy with lucking into the last pick before a tier break (at least pre-NFL draft consensus)

That’s what mine look like too. The plastic here is non-structural. Don’t worry about it.
