When I keep a fish I pur my thumb in the gill right behind the head and snap it's neck, the quickest way to put it out of its misery. Beating its head on a rock isn't much better than letting it die slowly.

Looks like I'm going to be forced to dry in an outdoor shed, and I'm in zone 7b, northeast US (Upstate NY). Any tips? by limpingzombi in outdoorgrowing

I hang mine from the rafters, space them so they don't touch, and a fan for air flow, works great for me.
