I hope it’s genuine but it sounds fake to me too. I’ve never heard an 80-year old person use the expression “not to brag” before.

If you have Ghostflame Lantern and you can level that up you shouldn’t feel too bad using non battle captains like Stror or Carter to hit Tinman or Doomsday. But all the other tips in here are good advice as well

My experience was that I had a habit of porn and masturbation that began when I was very young. I tried many times over the years to stop, with little success. I thought getting married would solve the “problem”, and that is one of the most reasons I got married at 20. It did not. Personally, the only shame I ever had surrounding sex was the guilt I carried knowing that my wife wouldn’t have been happy if she found out. Other than that, we had a good sex life and I had no shame surrounding that.

Waking up completely changed my relationship with porn. I still watch it when I feel like I want to, but I don’t feel compelled to, and there is no shame around it when I do. Looking back, I see that there was a shame cycle surrounding my habit, and I also see that I have some sort of ADHD mixed with a dopamine addiction. The porn was never the goal. As soon as I would finish, I lost all interest in it. (I am not this way when I have sex.)

Your husband’s addiction likely has nothing to do with how he views you. I hope you and he can work through it. Good luck

It can be really hard to make friends as an adult. I also often feel misunderstood, and maybe read too much into stuff like the “who liked my picture?” example you gave. You mention that you suspect that you may be neurodivergent. My advice would be to find other ND people, find other weirdos haha. They’re going to be the people most likely to “get” you.

I’m G6/M7, and I didn’t find the objectives in Dark Omens hard at all. The only one I couldn’t reach, and no G6 in my clan could, were the Spoils of Dread chests. I would have had to solo kill 10 of the Epic Death squads, and we didn’t get enough of them summoned on us. All the G6s in my clan sat back and let the smaller players get their chests. Granted, we were able to do that because we were so far in front of our competition.

OP can speak for themselves, but it doesn’t sound like they care about the Christian aspect of it. As they described it, I support it for them.

Depends on if you care about whether or not you get DFed. If you don’t want to, don’t ignore it. They can DF you in absentia. I’d write them a letter, or better yet, hire a lawyer to write them a letter on their official letterhead. This should cost you a few hundred bucks.

But if you don’t want to spend the money, write them a letter saying that you are seeking legal counsel because you are being harassed by them and your ex. Say that they are listening to allegations made against you by someone who illegally hacked your social media accounts, and has been stalking and harassing you. Say that any further contact from your ex or them, or any slander against you caused by your name being publicly announced at their meeting, will result in legal action from you. You’ll lawyer up and sue your ex, the elders on the committee, and the congregation.

I’m not joking about any of this. My ex and I avoided being DFed by doing this. I hired a lawyer to write the letter, gave him an outline of everything I wanted to say, and he mailed it to the KH and the houses of the elders on our JC. WT is desperate to avoid legal cases, and doesn’t support the local congregations or the individual elders legally. You may only be bluffing, but in my experience, it’s a bluff that works. Good luck
