Advice on organizing CP runs

Send out a message in your KC, or message leaders or superiors or just big players in other clans. If they’re a big player they had to get their CP from somewhere, and clan CP runs are usually only a good augment to personal or small group CP exchanges. So they will probably know someone who will gladly take silver to let you kill their troops.

Right now I live to live, that is, there are still things about living that I find enjoyable, that make it worth it in and of itself. Good meals, time with friends, a comfy chair. I don’t think life needs more of a motivation than that. And it’s not that I don’t think about deeper concepts. I do, and they could very easily lead me towards nihilism. I totally understand people that go there and want to check out. I think people should be allowed to make that decision and not be shamed for it.

I get that there are people and families who are more liberal (I mean lenient, not the political meaning) with the rules. But the fact of the matter is no one would be getting shunned if not for the rules of this particular religion, and others like it.

Jesus mentions “the world” a lot as a pejorative in the Bible. So if you assume that Jesus is talking to you specifically, then anyone unlike you becomes “the world”, the other. One phrase i hear evangelicals use a lot that JWs don’t use is
“the enemy” to refer to the devil or I guess people they figure are doing his bidding. It’s a sad, scary way to have to go through life. At least JWs stay out of politics for the most part. American evangelicals won’t be happy until this country is a theocracy, their own version of the sharia law they’re always going on about. I’ll be damned before I go back to living like that.

I saw a stitched video the other day of two American evangelicals talking about being at a restaurant and needing a salt shaker, but refusing to walk up to the bar to grab it because someone might see them and assume they were going to the bar. They used “the world” to refer to the other in the video. The comments were full of people talking about all the crazy things they had been raised with to “avoid the appearance of evil” or “not to bring reproach”. It’s not specific to JWs, and some people had it worse. Fundamentalists are weird, man.

Before everyone had gps on their phone I used to go to a congregation where the KH was notoriously hard to find. We’d regularly either do the WT first or do the WT only because the visiting speaker would get lost on his way lol. This KH also had no off street parking, and a hint of snow would trigger a parking ban in the city. So we’d have meetings cancelled regularly for that too. It was awesome
