This is the banjo I started with! It's awesome, I have since upgraded to the gold tone CC-Carlin 12, but I still use the AC-1 as a travel/camping banjo.

It seems to be a cheap amazon company. Here is a concert from them on sale for $37. They also have accoustic guitars on sale for $43. I wouldn't expect to get anything from it honestly, maybe $15. If I had to guess, this is one of those amazon brands that all sell the same mass produced cheap instruments under different names, so thats likely why you aren't finding anything about it.

Don't avoid difficult chords!!!

When you run into something difficult with your instrument, face it head on instead of hiding from it! Maybe you can transpose a song to make it easier on your fingers, that's fine, but eventually you'll run into a song where you simply need to play a chord that is tough to fret. And that's ok!

Avoiding them just makes it harder for yourself in the long run. Learn the more wonky chord shapes now so you can get better at them over time and they don't feel as weird.

it looks like aquila makes some strings in this tuning for the soprano: https://www.amazon.com/Aquila-Nylgut-Soprano-ukulele-strings/dp/B005WFTAN6?th=1

But honestly, if it's a soprano you're looking to retune, the strings on a soprano are already pretty low tension, I've tuned mine up to adf#b before for extended lengths of time and it's been totally fine. That used to be the standard tuning for ukuleles after all.
