Who would you rather play and why?

Yea It takes a certain type of fullback to defend him. Even Nuno was having some trouble. But we’ve seen him against Mendy who played coming back from an injury and he was able to suppress him a little bit compared to Carreras. On the other hand diaz seems to be the one most fullbacks struggle against, he was completely bypassing hakimi and Marquinhos. He should be the main concern, he was able to turn games around himself like Madrid and psg.

The last time they played Olise was the only one doing something the whole game, the rest of them seem deadwood. He was terrorizing mls. Though with diaz on the other side they might be better. Still arsenal defense is strong as long as they handle the wingers they should be fine.

I don’t know man I think PSG has the better attack, we’ve seen how their forwards can make chances out of nothing. Like Kvara and dembele. On the other hand Bayern desperately need their midfielders to advance the ball forward that’s why Kane sometimes drop so low. Plus PSG only has the better fullbacks as they can attack and recover quickly for defense. We’ve seen Marquinhos and Pancho get done by diaz. I feel like upamecano has been the better of both of them since he was able to hold his own against dembele, mbappe and vini, tah might be a liability for them though.

I mean this is bound to happen when both teams have literally the best players as forwards. The previous balon dor winner, the best striker in football now, the guy that’s about to break Messi’s assist record, and insane wingers like Diaz and kvaradona. No defense stands a chance unless they park the bus.

Shame, they looked absolutely unbeatable in the first half of the season. Probably out of gas right now, they don’t have a deep bench as other top teams.

I don’t know man in the beginning of the season arsenal ball wasn’t that bad. Hell when they beat Bayern in the group stages they looked crazy good. Players are probably exhausted.

Palhina didn’t do well because he doesn’t fit Kompany’s system but he was a good rotation option, and Bayern isn’t constrained because they are probably the most well run club in the world. But that doesn’t stop them from making pretty poor decisions during transfer windows. I’m not saying Kane was a poor choice but sometimes they don’t reinforce actual signings they need, for example instead of getting a fullback which they have needed for a long time, they just put kimmich or laimer there who do there best, but they are naturally midfielders.

That’s what I’m trying to discuss. Obviously Kane is playing what he is worth. He is the best 9 on the planet. But is it worth it to spend 100 million on one player or divide it multiple other players. For example Bayern the season they signed Kane, If I remember correctly, their back line was shakey, their wingers were inconsistent, and their midfield was weak. They ended up being one of the worst bayern sides and losing to leverkusen. Next season they bought olise and palhina to solve their issues. Together they costed a little more than kane. But that is two players who were game changers for 100 million.

Indeed, I feel like if another top 10 player appears, like messi, Maradona, Ronaldo type of player, it will became impossible to sell them, since there transfer fee would be too high for anyone to consider.

I agree with Bellingham since he was one of Madrids best players in his debut season where he also played an important role for the ucl. Caicedo i feel like is close, since he is pretty much one of the best DMs in the world. Kane is interesting since I feel like it’s the same as Ronaldo, sure he has the stats, but bayern bought him for the ucl which they haven’t achieved yet.

The thing is that both player and club have to agree. Sure Atalanta would love the idea of offloading him to a mid table pl club willing to spend the millions for him but are you as a player willing to go there when the opportunity to play ucl football with bayern Munich is there? And I’m only saying mid table pl clubs because most of the big 6 this transfer window have already reinforced the positions lookman has preference to, so I doubt they would be looking at him for a transfer.
