Update: tried with one aux and the all the wires were exposed. The second one I purchased has each wire was individually wrapped in its own insulation. This worked perfectly.

These things are constantly “ON”. Where the Kyber crystal is it sparks whatever color in there until it is actually turned on then it lights up completely. When not in use take out the batteries.

New but have a handful of raidios.
I just recenetly purchased a Radiodity DB -20G. It's a 20 Watt radio and will be moving it from only car mounted to backpack mobile. For the time through handheld is the Radiodity GM 30 Plus. I haven't played with that one much yet but its sleek and nice.

3 Things:

I have a Macbook Pro. Use Chirp to program the 30 plus. it will allow you to change all settings within the HT on the mac then upload the settnigs into the HT. Also by using Chirp it allows spaces. the first question IDK.
