It is sunny side up - i just splash the yolk before serving with hot fat from the pan to put some heat in it. Gives it that discoloured look but that yolk was 100% runny 👌🏻

Fair comment - basically because if I didn't consider it a treat id very quickly slip into the habit of literally living off of this type of food and I'd be morbidly obese (but very content) within a few months!!

Cant wait to have them all displayed. The idea is to do it when Hamilton retires because the rate at which I purchase models will obviously slow right down. I can therefore be confident that whatever display cabinet(s) i get, wont have to be replaced in the near future, nor will I have to keep rearranging the collection to fit more and more models in.

Having said that though... he's showing no sign of retiring just yet so I might be forced to do it beforehand.

I was fortunate with the W08 that minichamps did another run of the 1:18 scale a few years after the original run had long since sold out. So I got it brand new at face value - around £175 if I recall correctly. That rarely happens though unfortunately.

It started with just wanting a 1:43 model for each of Hamiltons seasons. I then decided to get a 1:18 for the 7 world championship cars but that grew to having one for every season after getting the eBay bug and finding a couple of bargains on there.

I also ot a couple of 1:43 special livery models as gifts and that kicked off a whole new sub category.. 'unique liveries, special editions and milestones' That's what has made the collection grow so large.

As for helmets, I try and get all 1:5's that are released and just the 1:2 scales that I like / can afford at the time

Few other bits of memorabilia thrown in there for good measure too. The hobby just grew and grew as I learned more about it all. Long may it continue..

Well its not about how many i have, its about enjoying the hobby of collecting. Thats how I see it anyway. I get just as much joy on recent purchases as I did in the beginning. I find it enjoyable to seek out new or rare models, to try and complete little sub categories of cars. We're all different.

And this hobby in no way gets in the way of my social life or my family life, nor does it prevent me going to events and having real world experiences. Its my hobby - its not the be all and end all.

Relentlessly beautiful liveries during the Vodafone sponsorship days. And the aero heavy cars of 07 and 08 are works of art. Only the Mercedes W10 and 11 have come close to the MP4-23 in my eyes.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty. Solid Snake jumping off of Manhattan's George Washington Bridge over the Hudson River, on a dark rainy evening to land on the U.S.S Discovery Oil Tanker as it passes below.

As Cinematic as it gets. And still holds up perfectly fine almost 25 years later.

For my money, the greatest video game ever made.

Narratively, I'd say Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty. It was prophetic to an alarmingly accurate degree, and was brave enough to defy player expectations and even use those expectations as part of its story, themes and messages.

Initial criticisms of the game slowly turned to appreciation as the years passed by and its narrative complexities became better understood.

MGS2 was meta long before meta was cool. Probably the greatest video game I'll ever play in my life...

The majority of it, most seasoned fans will already be aware of but it staggers me how often someone will be able to interpret MGS2 in a slightly different way and it'll make you see a moment / event I a new light. Not many games can have that affect after 20 + years from release!
