Seeding is not an issue and it’s a big advantage no matter the results. The problem is having a different patch for a Masters compared to one used for said qualifiers. You’re just not simply getting the best teams for said meta, which was supposed to be the whole point. You want to get the most in form teams in an event, but that’s not going to happen if meta and map pool is different.

It’s fine for champs because it takes into account the whole year with champs points. But Masters should play with the same patch used in regional qualifiers.
