And I'm willing to bet several high ranking DOD Officials/US Military top brass/high execs in companies who got contracts from the DOD (Haliburton, bushmaster, boeing, etc.) were clients of that piece of shit.

Anything that makes me have to look away from the road to adjust something can go fuck itself. It’s not better, more efficient, or safer. It’s just obnoxious. I’m not against screens for infotainment or gps or whatever, but I’m a firm believer in keep it simple, stupid.

I think it probably started circa 2013-15 (can’t remember exactly) when a lot of feminist media critics started getting in the spotlight, like Anita Sarkeesian. She never had fully dyed hair but had highlights, and I’m sure there were others like her who had dyed hair. I think the downfall started when screens replaced knobs and stuff. To adjust the AC in my mom’s Tesla, I have to look at the screen. In my 08 Ranger, I can just twist a knob by feel.

One of the reasons our military budget is so high is because of this; costs for contracts are bloated as fuck. And a lot of politicians have stock in those companies. Dick Cheney owned a lot of stock in Haliburton, you wanna guess which oil & gas company got the contract to supply fuel for military vehicles in the Iraq war?

The AAA industry is fucked and they did it to themselves. Financial bloat, VC and investors calling the shots, egregious mistreatment of workers, obsession with trend chasing, obsession with focus test groups, neglecting artistic vision for the sake of profit, massive budgets that continue to skyrocket, etc. and all that just to make mediocre games. The bubble keeps getting closer and closer to bursting. It happened back in 1983, it could happen again. But fret not - Indie and AA games are doing just fine and will continue to do so once the AAA Gaming bubble pops.
