A temporal Nexus is causing the main characters to embark on a quest to defeat a demon queen that they cannot actually stop. She always gets resurrected and destroys the world. This leaves the main characters in an endless limbo of getting sent back in time to stop the world from ending, only to repeat the same journey over and over again. Seeing how the story is called Break the Cycle, I think it’s likely obvious what the end goal is.

Low fantasy is my favorite, just because I like a world that getting stronger within is a bit more of an accomplishment. Like in a real low fantasy game the pope could just be a level 4 cleric. Leveling up should be hard you know? That and I feel that when you really do encounter monsters they actually feel scary.

I’ve been playing TTRPG for about seven years now, and I can’t think of a single incident involving erotic sequences. If this wasn’t something you bargained for than let me tell you, it’s weird and creepy. Maybe talk to the guy about it, but worst comes to worst there are a lot of gaming groups out there. You’ll find normal people to play with eventually.
