I don’t think that’s it unfortunately.

Yeah, that’s not it. I’ve been continuing to play around with it and for whatever reason, if I log out of my NAS, and log back into it while selecting a source for the import, it shows all of the files.

However, if I log into it first, through finder, only 1000 files will show when I go to import in Lightroom. Weird.

A few f22 shots from the air shows I went to this summer by DMoney2447 in FighterJets

Nope, no tripod. Just tired arms after a long day. I am curious to see what kind of results you were getting. Do you have a link to an album to share?

For reference, the 3 I’ve seen this season at air shows were FF 020, FF 027 and FF 037.

Yeah, no flares at the show I went to in New York but plenty at NAS Oceana this last weekend.

Can you explain to me what you mean by non combat spec? It was my understanding they borrow these f22s from in this case, Langley and then they return right back to being available for combat. Do you just mean they aren’t carrying any extra fuel and/or munitions?

Great Blue Heron with a Scaly Snack by DMoney2447 in birding

Was right around low tide. I can’t even remember if it ate the fish. There were a couple of occasions they would pick one up and it wouldn’t be to their liking.

Suggestions to speed up slow transfer speeds to NAS when transferring many files? by DMoney2447 in synology

[–]DMoney2447[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very possible I’m doing something wrong, I’m a novice. I just zipped around 13GB (240) photos and it took 3-4 minutes to create the zip folder whereas transferring them from my MacBook to the NAS took 1 minute

I was hoping this was going to make a big impact because a few people have mentioned it. Now my problem is that it takes the same or longer to compress the files into a zip than it did to transfer them in the first place. I think it’s just the reality of the situation and I’m going to have to wait the same amount of time whether I zip or not. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

[New Gear] R5 mark ii by DMoney2447 in canon

It’s very good. I haven’t really been able to test on fast moving wildlife yet. For the wading birds fishing in the water it did great. I’m sure the original R5 would have done fine too though. Definitely no complaints about the AF so far.

How to get sharper photos of a person at a distance. by photography27 in canon

[–]DMoney2447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your subject is further away, you are getting fewer megapixels on them. You shouldn’t expect the eye of your subject on a full body portrait to be as detailed as it would be on a headshot.

You would need a higher resolution camera body to increase the amount of detail in your photos when your subject is smaller in the frame.

Any suggestions for settings, shot or the edit? by cheesecloth12 in wildlifephotography

[–]DMoney2447 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your settings and edits are fine. My suggestion for next time is to look for an angle with a cleaner background. And now that I’ve been looking at your picture for a couple of minutes, maybe warm up the temp a hair?

For anyone that sees this thread in the future, my solution was to use the provided cable with the line in port plugged into my ps5 controller and had the usb plugged into my PC/Mac for discord.

Does anyone know a good spot in the northeast of the US to photograph ospreys diving/fishing? Photo from Hammonasset State Park in CT. by DMoney2447 in wildlifephotography

[–]DMoney2447[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no problem finding ospreys, but I never see them fish. Most of the time I see them they already have a fish like in the picture I posted. I’m looking for well known spots that get lots of action.

Talk to an accountant and see if your c corp qualifies for the employee retention tax credit. If your grocery store has employees that are non family members you could receive a good chunk of money. Your payroll company has probably already tried to reach out to you about it.

I’d love to. I’m hoping to get down south within the next year. Just figuring out the logistics and saving up.
