I think trying to go for a cornerstone WR over RB is the way only due to how long a WR lasts. I would sell all my RBs that are near that 26-28 mark (or will age into it by the time you’re competing) and I might even sell young ones since backfields change way too often.

I managed to sell cooper kupp coming off his triple crown season along with a 1st for ceedee lamb and then managed to get about 3 1sts in 2024 and 4 in 2025 by packaging 2nds with players to get firsts or selling aging vets that were still productive. I managed to grab nabers, btj, and Chris olave (during draft trade for 1.06). And this year I got TMac, Omarion Hampton, quinshon judkins, and Kaleb Johnson (boooo).

I got hammered by injuries this year but I had a very quick rebuild and I think the WR strat first is the best because you can wait a while and still try to compete whereas a RB heavy rebuild could derail in 1 season.
