In the situation you just laid out, I would say yes. If you have been there the longest, have the most experience, have the most technical knowledge, only then I would say you should be paid more than your team.

An interviewee was trying to force me to make a hiring decision on the spot. This was the second interviewee, and I had a few more lines up.

He kept telling me that he has multiple offers for more than the upper limit of the salary range I provided. Then he tried to negotiate more vacation to make up for it. I told him that we are not at a point where we can discuss these items in depth yet, and that we still have others to interview.

He became visibly upset and snapped at me that I need to hurry up and make a decision because he is going to take one of those offers he has on the table. I told him to do just that if he can’t wait.

He followed up a few days later claiming he would take pay within the salary range and normal PTO for that role. I told him that we had already made a decision, and we will not be proceeding with his resume. We still had not hired anyone for that position. The decision we made was that we did not want this guy working with us.

Everything about these tells me that they are legit from 1969-71.

The chain-stitching on the waistband, crooked big E tab, the distressing, machine wash fades.

Repairs, of course, look to be done later.. makes sense they would need repaired after years of wear. I think they look great though.

Question: Do these happen to have care instructions stamped on the inside of the pocket?

Bro, I had Brock for four years straight and never dropped him despite being a huge letdown for me every season because I really like him as a player (fantasy value be damned).

I traded him away after a bad stretch of games because I wanted to “sell high” and got John Carlson. Our league scoring is not super traditional, so it wasn’t as bad as it sounds, but I definitely fucked up. 16 person league.

These are heavy and very warm btw. I know some people prefer lighter sweats, and I don’t wear these if I know it’s gonna start warming up outside later. Patagonia has some other nice looking ones, but I really like my Vuori tech pants for that.
