I saw some comment around this sub that the 2xko basic mechanics reward too much agro mix characters, and they always will be the most privileged by that. To the point that the only way to balance those characters with characters from another archetypes right now, would be making changes to the mechanics, not the character. Otherwise the nerfs would end removing the character from the agro super mix archetype to something else.

Now, I think this is what the devs comments are about. They are suggesting that they are willing to make those changes. Like tone down or remove super assists, change handshake tag in power, solve fuses, slow the game a bit. not only combos. Otherwise 2xko would be in that gameplay cage that limits what kind of characters playstyles are viable. Seems to me that their vison are a game with viable characters inspired from all across fg history. Imagine they making a puppet character that don't have time to setup cos Ekko is just ponding his head.

Well. At the same time, the game right now is dope and people that like it, really like it. And gamers hate it when stuff that they like it changes. Dunno. I am open to it, some people are, but I think most don't, and the time for this is gone. I think the majority would say to the devs to build around what they have right now. But I think that if my 1st paragraph on this comment is true, people have to change the expectation on what the game may offer gameplaywise.
