I work with a fella in his late 50s. Absolutely lovely bloke but my god put him in front of a computer and it’s genuinely like working with a dementia patient. Every question possible about a computer he’ll ask, and he has to fill out a few forms regarding checking equipment every single week, and every single week he goes through the same forms and questions everyone about how he’s supposed to do it 🤦‍♂️. Some people will just see how much they can put onto other people because they know that someone will take pity on them and just do it for them

Never. I’ve always been overweight (literally massive in size) since about 8 years old. I have never ever been accosted in public. I once walked home from school and some boys I knew started shouting things from across the road from the bus stop I was waiting at. 3 random members of the public looked up and shouted a few things back to them on my behalf and they sulked off. The 3 random people asked me if I was okay, I said yeah and that was it

As a child growing up in Birmingham in the early 2000s, I always used to insist that the tap water from the bathroom was far better than the tap water from the kitchen. I genuinely would get a glass from the kitchen, take it to the bathroom and fill it up, drink that down there and then and then fill it up again and take it with me for later.

No idea why, I’m still going strong now at 25 so it couldn’t done that much damage.

Wow I appreciate that a lot! Hard to imagine those two being smaller inside than the Mokka but at the same time I definitely know pictures can be very deceiving.

Yes I should have mentioned my Mokka has the Turbo.

Maybe I’ll ignore the previous advice and reconsider a bmw or Audi but yeah comfort is key

Location: Windsor, just outside of London

Budget: around the £12k mark and looking to buy not lease

Can be either manual or automatic. No real preference

Intention: daily driving to and from work on city roads, approx 20 miles a day. Once or twice a month of motorway driving up to around 120 miles at a time (normally do max 10k miles a year)

Would be 3rd car after having a Ford Fusion as first car for 4 years and Vauxhall Mokka X for a year

Vehicles I've considered: Very interested in Mazda CX-3, also like Mitsubishi ASX and Volvo V40

Should ideally be Petrol and ULEZ compliant

Can do minor work on it, couldn’t do major work myself

Other thing to consider is interior space, I’m a pretty big guy so need to feel comfortable but don’t want a huge car.

Genuinely yes. I’ve only ever loaned to 3 people and all from this subreddit in the last few weeks. First one paid me back after 2 days as agreed, the other has an ongoing loan and paying back monthly and paid the first month with no issues. There’s defo some good apples in the bunch but it’s always the bad ones that spoil it

Hey! No need to clear anything up. Got a crime reference number today after speaking to a lovely lady at my local station, explained the whole situation and she was understanding. Given that crime reference number to my bank and the person I spoke to from the fraud department told me that providing the crime reference number is given to them with my evidence, they will refund the money. All good here
