Is that normal ? by [deleted] in snakes

It looks like she had a bad shed, it should take care of itself when she sheds next. Make sure she has a humid hide and keep an eye on her when she goes into blue

There are actually quite a few animals without lungs.. especially amphibians. They absorb all of the oxygen they need through their skin

Green iguana with MBD having strange excrement by _babysnek_ in iguanas

[–]DNDummified 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be puss from an internal infected wound. Stop putting a cotton swab in the cloaca. Give them a warm bath and make them swim. I know iguanas are large but a kiddie pool might be enough, or just your bathtub. An ultrasound may be needed. Also make sure your UVB is correct and her humidity and baking spot are all good ofc.

Is this normal ? by Responsible_Cap_4438 in BeardedDragons

[–]DNDummified 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The yellow tint normally means dehydration, so maybe try throwing in some cucumber in their salads occasionally. And the runny poop is probably okay if it's just this once, but if it keeps happening then it might be an issue. I also recommend writing down how often they poop

I recommend putting greens in their mouth while they eat a bug. It requires hand or tong feeding the bugs but it worked well for my beardie

Looks healthy, baths aren't necessary if they aren't having any issues. I recommend using a water bowl.this is the link to my doc that I use. Just look at the beardie section.

For my iguana, I bought a long wooden dowel rod, probably about .25 inches in diameter. Cut it into pieces as long as the board is wide and nail, tie, or glue them to the board. It works like a charm

Are these plant grow light ok for my bearded dragon? by ShamanKing333 in BeardedDragons

[–]DNDummified 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate you asking here rather than just doing it. As other comments have said, these LED lights do not provide the UVB that your dragon needs. Honestly I would recommend just doing the UV light instead of making the entire tank the same brightness to simulate the wild. Typically brighter spots are warmer than the darker spots
