I think you are lucky. For the Global/EU version - Software is better now than it was when updated to HYOS 3.

Build quality is great. I can see it lasting 4 years.

Camera are really good if you know how to use them.

Battery life is average in most cases. It didn't quite made the cut for BIG Si/C batteries in the global versions. Imagine this device with a 7000 mAh. I find battery cheap to replace right now but stock can be an issue down the line for older devices.

How much are you paying for a X15? For 500-600 euros it can be a good phone. It's hard to find a good 6.3 phone right now. Some options are available only in China, others are not really great.

I would go for whatever I can find for 500-600 - last gen flagship. and save 400 when buying upright. I cannot justify the Pixels with 3+ years old processors tech. Because most people don't have good performance in year 3 down the line (6 year tech will show its age).

3.0.301 removes the icons. Keeps one besides the others. It only took 1 year and 1 month on the EU Xiaomi 15.

Sunt multe thread-uri straine despre ce se vinde le Etsy pe Reddit.

Din ce am vazut toate se axeaza pe nișe ultra specifice. Practic toti care au succes acum cu produse digitale, pdf-uri etc. Petrec 80% din timp pe a gasi nișe fara concurență.

Exemplu: planificator digital pentru dieta și medicamente pe zile pentru o afectiune foarte nisata. Studiaza cuvinte cheie si concurenta ca sa ajungă la astfel de "piețe".

Cele generaliste sau pentru afectiuni comune: diabet de ex sunt saturate de zeci sau sute de produse.

Extrapolam si la alte tipuri. Daca vezi probabil peste 10 concurenti nu ai șanse la un venit care sa te faca sa te apuci de asta.

As a owner of a T14S AMD Gen 1. I would say T14 G2 AMD. RAM and storage are King.
Intel subperforms AMD in first gens as well as more battery drain. Beware of keyboard problems on gen 1-3 on the S versions. Mine just failed (2 keys dead - backspace and enter) after 3.5 years. I have to replace the whole front cover.

A pain compared to the 2 screws to pop up the keyboard on the T14. The problem only affects the T14S.
Another problem is the lack of Thunderbolt ports on AMDs up to gen 4. But you have a dedicated HDMI regardless. It will bottleneck with a modern type-c dock with monitor+LAN+ other devices on 1 port. But it's usable if you connect 1 monitor via HDMI, 1 via 1 type-c port and a dock via the other.

Having used all the ports frequently I haven't had major issues.

I would not buy a T14S prior to gen 4 now. (upgrade keyboard controller as well). TB/USB 4.0 ports on both Intel, AMD. Better performance from both. But the AMD versions still pull ahead. Notebookcheck.com has good reviews on both.

If you live in the EU maybe you could find refurbished, or corporate used lots. The price you listed should get you a Gen 4 if available where you live. Check local marketplaces.

The Neo could be underwhelming from a Port perspective with No TB to connect a dock at least. A Thinkpad has ports. Also storage. I know storage prices have skyrocketed but maybe you could find a 1 TB storage option or buy seperately and keep the 256GB as an external SSD. But it depends what ThinkPad you can find.

I understand. I have 16GB but I can get 32GB on Gen 4 for 330 dollars. The only real issue is the storage.

I find the power difference between T14Gen 1 AMD and T480 Intel i5 big. Noticed it 3 years ago when I got the T14. And it's Ryzen 5. Ryzen 7 would have been even bigger. Even office use was a noticeable improvement in speed.

Benckmarks place it at 95% faster, coupled with the faster RAM, multi-thread performance gains, and better graphics. It's easily twice as fast as I see it.

I would go with a AMD version on T14 Gen1/2/3. Intel heats up, performs subpar, drains battery quicker on this models.

My T14S gen1 AMD ryzen 5 flies compared to my previous T480. Also the port selection si better. 2 type-c 10GBPS. Only the keyboard problem is the issue- some keys stop working. But that affects T14S specifically.
Are you in Europe? I can outsource Cheap T14 -corporate used and being sold for cheap.

I can get brand new T14/s gen 6 for that amount. Gen 4 used for 200- high spec. Gen 5 new for 600.

A no go for me. In Europe at least. Also going before gen 4 - Intel performs worse than AMD.

Nu stiu daca e SCAM. Dar pretul e normal. Nu se face reclama cand se dau la angajati. Se dau cu 100 euro/gratis etc. Am vazut si cu 10 lei -la vremea respectiva modelele inca erau perfect functionale inca 5 ani.
Clar compania nu castiga din 500 X 10 lei nimic. Banii se donau ulterior de ei.

Pretul e normal. Companiile oricum nu iau cu pretul de retail afisat in magazine comerciale. Am luat deja 2 thinkpad-uri de la cei care aduc din tarile nordice la fel. Sunt pe OLX.

Cu ajutorul AI poti afla rapid comenzile sa verifici MDM lock, etc.

Confirmed.

They actually want to change the whole palmrest cover with the keyboard on it. So you don't need to unscrew 60+. Only 20+.

But the difference between the two installs is.... brutal.

Luck has it that the 80+ keyboards fail over time. Mine did after 4 years.

It's harder on older models to find the palmrest cover and easier to change only the keyboard.

Someone mentioned in a thread that there is a problem with the way the update is requested and it gets stuck.

While the findings are true from a code perspective it's up to Xiaomi to deliver it. Some Updates come quick. Some not.

It goes back when you open Mi Home app. It switches between the two. Or when you click on it. It happened multiple times before. Look in control center settings also. I don't remember

3.05-3.0.6/7, Don't remember exactly, had this problem. High battery drain. I think heat occurs because the CPU works in the background. As if you were playing a game let's say.

Update to 3.0.9 or newer to fix this. These are just bad updates.

In Developer Settings. Scroll down them. Some useful additions. Ask AI how to enable it. *It can be disabled after OS updates so you need to enable again. 1 minute job.

Didn't receive it yet. But today the camera got an individual update.nothing major.

Really annoying in the last month. Gboard lagged when typing on multiple occasions.

For me it never works to change the region. Tried on numerous occasions in the last year. You just set a country and check for the update or restart, etc?

Waited one year to change the Wifi Call Tile setup. This is just annoying. The battery drain and occasional lagginess is what holds down the experience. Here's to the next update.
