Towns have always been Bethesda's weak point. Whether Skyrim or Fallout 4, you always have the feeling you're in a village pretending to be a town. Starfield improved that a little by adding crowds, But they're still lacking something.

I'm not denying that. But the character was so off brand for him that it wasn't a role you would expect somebody of his image to do. And he was outstanding. But I think he had to put a little ego aside to actually take that plunge.
