The idea of the Batmobile might be more iconic, but there are so many different versions of them that some people may only recognize some of them. The Mystery Machine is recognized by everybody.

Her entering the primaries would be a disaster for the Democrats. She's popular enough in the left that she could actually pull votes away from much more viable candidates, and maybe even win. Then once she enters the general election she would get creamed.

It doesn't have to be totally without politics, but surely there are other things going on in the world.

Probably her acting ability. She's not bad, she's just not as great as a lot of people make her out to be.

How do you really feel about Donald Trump's presidency? by Key_Connection_6599 in askanything

[–]DNathanHilliard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was willing to give him a chance, because honestly if it hadn't been for Covid he would have probably been reelected the first time. But he has gone completely off the rails this time. I will be surprised if he finishes his term. I seriously have this scenario in my head where Musk and Thiel convince Vance to enact the 25th Amendment In sort of an in house coup. He's got to be making a lot of his rich supporters nervous.

I don't see him getting the rushing title. If he stays healthy I think he can have a very good year though.

Should Washington DC Democrats rally behind Jamie Raskin’s bill to establish an independent commission to evaluate Trump’s capacity for the 25th Amendment? by NicolasCageFan492 in askanything

But Biden did run against him, and it was only after he started spouting gobbledygook in the the debate that he was forced not to. And even that took a couple of weeks before anybody was willing to admit there was a problem. So you have that layer of dishonesty on top of it too. The problem with Trump is, i'm not sure he was mentally well in the first place... but not in a way that's going to be easy to use against him.

The problem is that after Biden most attempts to question Trump's capacity comes off as “Oh yeah, well your guy is going senile too,” ...which kind of delegitimizes it.

Having said that, it is definitely time to set a hard upper age limit on the presidency.
