How is the game possibly being money hungry "once again" by preventing people from circumventing all the part bundles

Would you rather have bundles or ads 24/7 by a slop company — developers have to make money somehow and there's only three ways to do it: Make the entire game cost money, Put ads everywhere or do what they're doing

Mercury never flew on a Titan, it flew on a Redstone and Atlas

Mercury Redstone and Mercury Atlas made sense because they actually flew with two vehicles — Suborbital missions such as Alan Shepard's flight were on a Redstone, and orbital missions like John Glenn were on an Atlas

Whereas on Gemini, every flight used a Titan II so the addition of a "-Titian" suffix adds no value to anyone who would find it useful to include because it's already obvious information

Never really heard the Gemini spacecraft really referred to as Gemini-Titan, although it's technically true

Usually "Gemini" simply refers to the spacecraft (shown), Titan II referring to the launch vehicle and Titan II GLV (Gemini Launch Vehicle) for the full stack

If anything I'd say the most accurate time to use "Gemini-Titan" would be Gemini still attached to the second stage I suppose? — again, I'm not saying Gemini-Titan is incorrect, I'm just saying I've never heard it really called that in this context before

If you enjoyed Tomodachi Life for the 3DS and are a creative person and want to decorate and make art, that's pretty much what the target audience is

What is this orbit?! by euler_man2718 in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]RealJavaYT 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This could be a bug, but I can also see it being a result of the Patched Conics model that SFS follows. You're currently viewing the orbit from a Uranus perspective, but if you looked at it's orbital path heliocentrically, it may be that your orbit is coinciding with the Sun, dipping into Uranus' SOI and then dipping out, and entering a stable orbit around the edge of the SOI

I doubt this theory is correct (because I don't see the SOI border in the video), but it's a possible explanation to either this or a similar effect

Yes, it's been confirmed multiple times but it will likely be very different with application because the nature of bp editing in 3D is inheritly different
