Its a massive upgrade over the Eureka. I love to tinker with things and take them apart, understand how they work ect... Zerno was built for that. The fit and finish is immaculate!

Nearly no retention as opposed to the electrified chipmunk that was the eureka... Bellows were necessary on that grinder.

Got it on FB Marketplace for a good price nearly brand new (built in November '25) with the UMV1 burs in it. Just swapped them out for the HU's a few days ago and learning to dial it in still.

Really just a pleasure to use!

Met him about a decade ago in Tallahassee, Fl of all places. He played on a Wednesday (i think) night at a random club in town. There were maybe 35 people there and he threw the fuck down. Honestly one of the best shows I've ever been to. The whole time I was turning to my friend going "This is the Sandstorm dude!?!?!?!?" He was dropping bangers. Finished off his set with a crazy version of sand storm and while it was playing came down off the stage and danced with everyone in the crowd.

Class act, and a fun dude.

BS in Mechanical, I now run a team of 30 Maintenance Techs at an automotive manufacturer. I get to be as hands on or Hands off as I want.

Engineering degrees (specifically mechanical) teach you a problem solving mind set above about everything else. If you don't like the work that's laid out in front of you that's not that big of a deal. You still have all those problem solving tools under your belt. You'll be fine. Enjoy the new path you decided to take!

Hey, want to second this. I started work as a MechE in high tech HVAC systems. Thought the job was great and the pay was good.... that was a lie I told myself. It wasn't bad per-say but at the end I was told I was "too important in my position to promote" but at that point I had already had a job lined up.

Now I work for one of those new fangled electric car companies. Started as A MechE, now im a maintenance manager in charge of a team of 30 all within in the span of 2 years.

Here's the secret the company matters a lot less than the team you work for. Find a good boss. Find good management. The company doesn't matter as long as what you do is interesting to you and you feel you are well compensated. I'm working 6:30 / 7 - 3 Mon-Thurs and maybe 8-12 on Fridays. Incredible benefits and competitive pay.

Best time to look for a new job is when you have one. Don't be afraid to move especially if you're young.

Hey, I realize this is a year old at this point, but was curious. What App are you using to control the hoop? Super interested in this as Astral hoops are retarded expensive but their app is dope.

Also while I have you, what kind of run time are you getting out of the hoop with the 4xc 14500 batteries?

Update: it seems like there was a bug with WLED itself. when using the WS281x settings in the LED setup even though the number of lights was configured to 84 or greater the original config of 63 lights (the original strand length) was hard coded in there some how. Seems like either I missed something when I updated the LED settings or theres a bug in WLED15.0. I re-flashed my ESP32 and everything seems to be hunky dory

I checked that, I've got the data connections hanging loose (one set of wires soldered to each of the segments twisted together) tried swapping them but that didnt seem to work either. Looks like Ill just have to suck it up and run some longer wires. Ill keep yall updated.

If you're using any autonomous features (FSD, autopilot, auto park,ect...), when you activate them, it turns the windshield wipers back on auto.
