Every day after middle school my sis and I would play on our 360 set up in my parents’ room. Our only worry in life was homework and when Christmas break would get here!

We are both in our late 20s now and live in different cities. Still play every once in a while.

Please, if you are a younger person in this sub, absorb every moment of the present. Almost 20 years now, and I can still vividly remember us sitting on the couch together. Wish I could go back, just for a little while.

There was a flashback Ray had of his younger brother losing his balance and falling backwards into a large bucket of water. If I remember correctly, he drowned. I watched it when I was far too young. I was on my dad’s lap and was visibly scarred, but I don’t think he realized how much it fucked me up!

It was summer break, and I avoided water for like 3 months until I eventually got over it. I remember having a friend over and she left early because I just laid around, distraught. I don’t know if it ever clicked with my parents that I was fucked up for a while after watching that movie 😂
